Richard Sabino is an American conductor with 50 + years conducting experience. He is the founder and Music Director of Central Florida Winds and the Riverside Chamber Orchestra. He also is Music Director of Central Florida Chamber Winds and Chamber Brass. He has been, prior to the pandemic, a frequent guest conductor in Europe leading orchestras in Ukraine, Romania, and France.
Richard Sabino began his study of conducting at age 12 . In 1968 when he was age 17, he participated in a summer music festival in Daytona Beach. The professional orchestra was the London Symphony Orchestra and its soon to be principal conductor Andre Previn. Richard received his first, and most important, conducting instruction from Maestro Previn.
